Storyline

Meet Sofia Escala, a.k.a. Justice Woman, spunky Assistant D.A. by day, defender of truth and justice by night, who with the help of her office-mate and sidekick Robert (Roberta) Gallion fights to right the wrongs committed against the innocent and powerless by a corrupt legal system - and gets herself into some tight spots along the way. JUSTICE WOMAN is a campy series that pays homage to the superheroes of yesteryear with an engaging story line that involves Sofia bringing to light questionable practices in the prosecution of the city's cases, most notably the incarceration of an innocent migrant worker, Jesus Lopez, and her quest to prove his innocence with the help of her best friend Robert. Starring Vanessa Verduga as Sofía Escala/Justice Woman (think Wonder Woman with a law degree) and Lee J. Kaplan as Robert/Roberta Gallion, this smart, funny, fast-paced series tackles serious issues of corruption in our legal system with a large dose of campy humor. Think "Law & Order" meets "... Awesome web series
10 June 2015 | by (Los Angeles) – See all my reviews

Have you ever had one of those moments where you've said to yourself, "I just need to take a step back, rethink my life and make some changes. Maybe unplug for a while, get out and breathe some air that hasn't gone through the processor fan of my computer and enjoy life again"?This Web series is fun and watching makes me realize that I truly have grown up.

This is a great series. The acting is very impressive and I can't wait for another episode. I have not been as addicting to online as the characters but the story line and comedy is very satisfying. The acting is also very awesome. The entire cast does a great job and they are all hilarious. I, again, can't wait for another episode and I'm sure it will win more awards for the series, including another you tube award (which doesn't seem to be listed on this site. But again no complains about anything dealing with this Web series. So great job everyone working on this series!
