The trials weakened Sam wearisomely, so after a shooting range test, Dean grounds him to recover. When their hacker acquaintance Charlie Bradbury arrives to report weird killings, Dean grudgingly allows her to come along and clumsily play FBI agent with him, but they can't get passed the stickler coroner and Sam turns up on his own. They figure out it's the work of a blue jinn, whom they find working in the system, and not alone. The only way to counter its feeding on victims' fear is entering dreams, which Sam does with Charlie. Written by KGF Vissers

Did You Know?

When Charlie is caught she shouts "Wilhelm Scream," which is in reference to a famous stock sound effect used in hundreds of movies, most notably for Charlie in Star Wars. See more »

When Charlie was telling Sam and Dean about the attacks she told them it happened in Salina..she used the California cities pronunciation instead of how it is actually said in Kansas as Sa Line ah. Since she was originally suppose to be from Kansas and had been back visiting she should have known how to say Salina. Also you showed Salina in Shawnee county when it is actually in Saline County. User Reviews

Very emotional
25 April 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is one of the best episodes in a while now. I enjoyed the emotional and comical content and it reminded me more of the Sam and Dean I fell in love with in previous seasons. I also would love to see more in the future of their brotherhood growing stronger, as it seems to have fallen apart more in this season and even in last season.I enjoyed the emphasis on letting go in this episode, which is very therapeutic to most people. I look forward to Charlie developing more as a character in the future. I believe she will be a great asset to the show. I really look forward to seeing more of her and the Winchester brothers possibly in later episodes and I would have never guessed that Charlie would have developed into such a supporting character.
