My Name is Earl reunion
justicep174311 July 2014
Warning: Spoilers
It is Hopes 3rd birthday. Jimmy and Sabrina throw her a party with parents and kids from the park. What makes this episode special is the cast of My Name is Earl all make an appearance. While most of the cast had already made appearances (with the exception of Catalina) this is the only episode where they are all in the same episode. Earl is Smokey the rehabbed musician who writes a list of all the wrongs he has done. Joy and Randy play professional Beauty and the Beaver characters who have never done a kids party and never been paid for services. Darnell plays the pizza man. Catalina plays a bouncy house vendor. Kenny is a regular on the show. If you are a fan of My Name is Earl this is the closest thing you can get to a closure episode.

Raising Hope Making the Band
dalydj-918-25517527 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
If viewers of this show do not know the creators of Raising Hope also created My Name is Earl which was referenced a lot throughout with all the actors coming back together and just the way the episode was structured. All these actors such as Jason Lee, Jamie Pressley and the rest together also with the raising hope cast made for some funny one liners and then some others that did not work. The Smokey scenes did not work for me because I have never liked the character. The party scenes were great seeing Jimmy and Sabrina seeing all the crazy parents and that they really cannot be with them. The airplane scenes were a good ending to the end of the episode.

EPISODE GRADE: C (MVP: Martha Plimpton)
