The show was going well...lovable character, interesting plot and a good story...until this episode. Warning my next sentence is a spoiler for this episode.
The thief who stole the page from the book was being pursued by Flint and Vane. This thief has the missing page from an important book that contain valuable route information concerning a galleon with a lot of riches on it. Well...in order to survive, the thief had only one thing to do apparently, and it was to read two pages containing a lot of information, memorizing it and then...burn the page. Comon. This is an action only to serve the plot. Nothing original. But keep in mind that he did that under stress...in approx. 5 mins. Twos pages.
Maybe it's just me, but it's hard to get hook to a show with a big flaw like that.
