Flint survived Singleton's bid for the captaincy but has a hard time convincing anyone of his plan to found a 'pirates island kingdom'. So when it becomes known he still hasn't secured the missing log page to find the galleon on which's gold treasure the whole plan depends, the hunt for it becomes deadly urgent. Silver overhears in the brothel having become the prime suspect but manages to escape and set a trap to sell it to Flint's great rival captain Charles Vane for a fortune in pearls. Those get lost in the nocturnal exchange plot, where Silver has to burn the log page to secure his survival as prize. Written by
