The whole series feels like it is building up momentum to "Ragnarok", the great battle between giants and gods.
We get a sneak preview when Saxa is about to throw a spear to Magne (Thor), but just waits so enormously long that Magne has enough time to randomly look over his shoulder and stop her from throwing the spear.
But hey, at least some minutes later the giants and gods finally face each other, after 17 episodes. The tension is building and the apocalyptic Ragnarok battle is about to start, Saxa is on her way with the spear towards the gods... and then absolutely nothing.
It feels as if the budget for special effects ran out, maybe the fake blood was too expensive... i don't know what happened. But just laying down arms was not the move I had hoped for.
And little O, the midgard snake? Just sent off to the ocean as if the writers had no clue what to do with him anymore.
This episode made me feel like I watched the whole series for nothing.
