  • The Justice Department continues to pursue Eli Gold even though their wiretap evidence has been thrown out. It turns out that witness is the head of the local Democratic party and his testimony relates to Eli arranging to pack a straw poll with seniors from an old folks home. As both lawyers spar back and forth deftly countering each others thrusts, the case begins to affect Peter's run for governor - and results in Peter's mother Jackie being called as a prosecution witness.
