Did You Know?

Rebekah: Where is it? The cure. I know someone has it.
Damon Salvatore: Yeah, someone. Katherine.
Rebekah: Katherine? The doppelganger?
Damon Salvatore: Yeah, sneaky little bitch must've been spying on us for weeks. She killed Jeremy. Or somebody did. He killed your brother. Let's not with the fake sad face.
Rebekah: I didn't say I was going to miss him. But I'm not heartless. He was Elena's only family.

One of the best...
24 February 2013 | by See all my reviews

By now, I can't really say if this episode was on my top 3, right after Founder's Day and Ghost World, but I can say that it's one of the best episode that showed yet. I was afraid the series wouldn't keep on being amazing, but I was wrong. Season 4 may lack some realism and emotions in its storyline, but this particular episode was so emotionally powerful I just can't pass through it. Nothing spectacular really happens in this one, it's more about living the fact that Jeremy died. Nina Dobrev is simply riveting in her most powerful performance yet, particularly in the scene where she loses her mind and threatens to burn the house. I also loved how the screenwriter made Damon such a good person, when he decides to let go of his feelings for Elena and tells her to turn off her humanity to stop her sufferings. It was just amazing. Incredible. I'm speechless.
