Henry goes to see his friend, the Grand Rabbi who is dying. He tells Henry he has to decide who will succeed him. Now he has two sons and tradition requires for him to choose the elder son but he believes the other one is more suitable. Now the son whom he intends to choose steps out and is stabbed. Henry then calls Danny to handle it. He is assigned a Jewish detective to help him because the Hassidic community thinks of him as an outsider and will not tell him anything. Danny suspects the other son but learns he has an alibi. He then decides to look into the victim's background, and discovers that he didn't treat his wife well and was having an affair. Jaime arrests a young girl who's was smoking marijuana and also had a large quantity in her possession. It is later revealed that the girl is the daughter of the former mayor. Written by
