Serena returns home to her mum's house by the seaside, years after leaving for Leeds, it turns out she moved away from the area, because she was caught up in a murder.
I loved this when it was first transmitted, and I enjoyed it just as much seven years later, time has been very kind to it. I love how the story is told, the way it develops, I remember bits, but not the outcome, I just know it's excellent.
Great music throughout, Oasis and The Cranberries, it really helps bring the nineties back.
Lorraine Burroughs as always is tremendous, always great to see Jodhi May, they are an excellent duo. Martin Compston is great, he looks so young.
Innocent but proven guilty? Looking forward to Part two. 9/10.
