The late Wilton Knight's ex-wife, Elizabeth, and his villainous son, Garthe - a bearded double of Michael - return to the USA from Africa and steal the special formula for K. I. T. T.'s molecular bonded shell. Having applied the compound to an eighteen-wheeled juggernaut dubbed 'Goliath', Garthe and Elizabeth join forces with a gang of mercenaries in order to steal a consignment of nuclear missiles from a secret government facility. Michael and K. I. T. T. set off to stop them ....
Goliath has a great idea of Michael Long given the face of Wilton's son thought to be killed - of course, he isn't dead, plus he's psychotic as hell. Donning a sharp goatee, David Hasselhoff plays Garth remarkably well, in a sense that he's totally different from Michael. He plays the character serious - no pantomime villain hang-ups.
Both two episodes are great, though part two is better and concludes from the time Michael and KITT are stranded in the desert after its tussle with Goliath, which lifts up to its name. But you know that Michael and KITT care going to bring it down, and does so in spectacular fashion.
