Now, I like watching things like this. Shows that highlight how the world could end and those who have predicted it. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is one theory that is highly discussed, and when I saw this first episode, I was really excited to sit and watch it. Unfortunately, I found it much too steeped in religion, rather than science when I watched it.
Of course, The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are steeped in religion, and that's understandable. However, this episode had absolutely nothing to do with the science of the apocalypse; just how each horseman would affect the world with drought, disease, etc.
I feel like this episode could have been done so much better. There was a lot they could have done with this one, and I ended up turning it off three quarters of the way through. I didn't even want to finish it, which is a shame. It made me a bit more wary of the series as I went on, as well, which was rather aggravating.
A lot more could have been put into this, rather than what we got. It was a let down, for sure, especially as I was relatively enjoying this series so much.
