Storyline

Alison's spy-cam reveals that her husband went out it the middle of the night and didn't return for hours. When he refuses to talk about it in the morning, she overreacts. Unfortunately, it's also the day she's hosting the neighborhood monthly potluck get together. Sarah and Felix step in to help her out. Things get somewhat difficult when Vic shows up at the party. Paul also arrives which works to Sarah's advantage. He has his own agenda however. In Minneapolis, Cosine and her new friend Delphine attend a lecture by Dr. Aldous Leekie. Written by garykmcd

Sarah tells Felix to come to Alison's house in Suburbia. In which he replies, "To Scarberia?" Scarberia also known as Scarborough, is an actual location located in Toronto, Ontario, where the Orphan Black series is filmed. See more »

Goofs

When Paul puts the bottle of liquor back in the cupboard after adding drugs to it, he puts it on the left of another bottle. When he later takes it out, it is on the right of the other bottle. This is a key mistake as the bottle is integral to the story as when he takes it out, she comes clean with him and he returns it and takes the other untainted bottle out. The mistake could confuse people as to what bottle is he holding, the one with or without the drug. See more »

Donnie Hendrix: [Alison enters the kitchen] Three hours to go, and the dishes still haven't been washed, the drink cart hasn't been loaded up, the kids' gift bags haven't been sorted, and did we even get ice? Hello, did we get ice? Alison, come on! Get with the program, here.

Everything's converging!

This episode felt like a farce in a really fantastic way. Typically, a farce is set in one location with many doors, with characters coming in and out at hilarious times. Mistaken identity and physical comedy ensue. The episode was set in Alison's house, during a party. Usually, the mistaken identity arises through the characters' idiocy or convenient timing. Here, it arises from the fact that they are clones, and look exactly like one another. As a result, you get the hilarious hi-jinks but in a more realistic way, more befitting of the show's tone. It makes for a wacky, tense, wonderful ride. The whole thing feels very hyper and energized. It's the perfect vessel for both comedy and character/plot development. Alison tortures her husband and finds out that he is not an agent. I have a strange feeling that she's going to justify it as kinky and that will eventually become a thing between them. He has a really heart-breaking scene at the end. The format is the perfect way for long separate story threads to collide. The one story-line that felt a bit off this episode was the Cosima story, as it was so detached from all the other stuff happening in the episode, although the end makes it seem as though it will be getting very interesting soon. Overall, an epic episode!
