Storyline

Miranda is troubled because Mike keeps telling her he loves her but she does not feel the same way about him and, since his fifteen year old dog has just died, cannot find the right moment to tell him. Of course the man she really loves is Gary who is about to reopen his restaurant. Matters are partially resolved when Mike announces that he is off to work in Africa but when Miranda publicly declares her feelings to Gary at the reopening there is no response, though possibly this is because Gary Barlow has just walked in to meet Raymond Blanc, whom Penny is pursuing to attend her tennis club ball. This episode was almost perfect
2 June 2013 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Just 10 seconds in I am already laughing at 'toast spoons'. Just simply the randomness of this show just gets me every time. I laugh almost constantly just watching this episode, and it is in my opinion one of the best episodes of Miranda. This episode is a must-see! My favourite three little words are, "Let's watch Miranda". The customer was just so funny. The only part I don't like in the whole half-hour, which is why I have rated it 9 and not 10, is Miranda and Gary having a huge argument at the end. This is a similar problem to "A New Low". It makes me cringe and it upsets me that they have to argue at the end of so many episodes. The amount of episode that end on this kind of note can make the show feel a bit like a soap opera. Apart from that, this episode is perfect.
