New Girl Pepperwood
23 January 2013 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Cece has moved in with the rest of the group because her apartment is not working. Jess comes in believing she has finally made a breakthrough with a student in her adult writing class. Winston walks in and a strange moment occurs when Cece walks into him and promptly notices something brushing off her. Nick reads the essay by the supposed student of Jess and thinks this guy has something wrong with him. Winston try's to apologise and learns that the incident was his Pogo that the rest of the group talks away when he leaves the room. Nick now thinking this guy is crazy decides to do an investigation. Nick comes into Jess's class with the alias name Pepperwood. Edgar walks into the room and Nick sees the deathly drawings he does. Schmidt try's to figure out what his pogo is and learns it is his weird toes everyone speaks about. Nick then goes to trespass on Edgar's house so Jess tags along. Nick and Jess learn their pogo's which is Jess being a know it all and everyone worried for Nick. Cece still cannot find her pogo. Nick and Jess go to Edgar's house and Jess sees some strange things happening and believes what he said about Edgar. While Nick goes to do more investigation Jess has to spend some time with Edgar worried when he brings up murder speaking to him. The whole event turns out to be a total misunderstanding as Edgar was just being a writer inspired by teacher and having an older lover. At the end we see everyone try to cover up their pogo's but when food goes on fire they all laugh about each other. Another funny episode to this season and Jake Johnson is just out of this world on this show that I love him more then any other comedy actor on TV.

EPISODE GRADE: B (MVP: Jake Johnson)
