Storyline

Aidan, Josephine and Winchesters-acquaintance Krissy are teenage orphans who trap vampires, hoping to avenge their slain families. Victor Rogers acts as a good foster father, seeing to their education, but includes ruthless hunter training. The brothers disapprove of this method, doubt the convenient abundance of training victim vampires, take their innocence claims seriously and examine the sinister lurker Seth. Written by KGF Vissers

Good idea, Moderate Execution
27 April 2013 | by See all my reviews

I liked the idea of the surrogate father lying to his kids about the vampires, but perhaps this could have been modified slightly so that there were no kids? Sometimes I feel like the show needs to "grow up" a bit, and although in this episode I may mean it literally, it also applies in a non-literal sense (irrelevant here however)

I do not like Chrissy. I hope she's gone. She's written like a "hard ass" but she comes off like she's trying to hard, and I don't think that's on purpose. It's partly the fault of her actor (who is not my personal favourite) and the fact that she's supposed to be about 17 but she looks 12.
