A pointless cop mystery
8 June 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I have been binge watching this show for a few weeks now. While at times it does feel a bit exhausting watching in succession, the show is generally quite entertaining and funny. Sadly those qualities are not present in this episode. Aside from the dull plot (a mystery that is never remotely compelling in the way an earlier episode starting BMO was), the humor just doesn't land (most seemingly focused on Jake and his cop set-up). The whole episode also feels oddly... out of place as well with all Jake's cop item transformations and the store locales. Still, even mediocre Adventure Time has its moments and I don't feel like the episode is detriment to the series as a whole.
