Who is working with whom?

As the series approaches its conclusion we finally learn what the grand conspiracy is all about; fearing torture Letts explains that the Russian Flu vaccine is actually designed to sterilise ninety to ninety five percent of the population. The Network believes that the only way for humanity to survive is to drastically reduce the ever increasing population! Becky and Ian are horrified but Wilson sees some logic in the idea. Ian and Becky then take the vaccine to Milner but aren't sure about whether or not she can be trusted. While this is going on Jessica and Arby are heading to retrieve the manuscript and Dugdale is trying to make a deal that will get him and his family out of danger permanently.

This, the penultimate episode, provided some important answers without letting us know who exactly we could trust; even the protagonists could end up working for the bad guys due to various pressures they are under. The cast continue to perform well and the director has filmed the action in a way that gives everything a slightly unreal look; this nicely heightens the sense that things aren't what they should be. The only real disappointment is knowing that there is only one episode left!
