Fearless Vampire Killers are critically lauded and Kerrang! award nominated. They now have the chance to prove their worth on the nation's stages and to fulfill a childhood fantasy: to play Castle Donington.
At age 9, Laurence Beveridge and Kier Kemp became best friends. Having been singers in their own respective bands, they now act as dual frontmen of Fearless Vampire Killers. The band have just released their debut album to rave reviews, been nominated for Best British Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards and Kier has been rated the 20th greatest rock star in the world today. All this before their first nationwide tour. Make-up and talc applied, this is all about to change. Written by
Me and Kier met when we were... 9 years old i think. Yeah, because I remember it was the first day of school and I came outside the class and I met this kinda like... cheeky look-looking little brat who asked me what my name was... and I said my name was 'Laurence' and he said that's too... that's too posh, that can't be your real name. 'What's your surname?' And I said 'Beveridge'. And he goes 'Alright then I'm gonna call you that'.
