This episode is the best in this series so far, a rollercoaster of emotions really. We finally see our main antagonist Makishima in a serious situation, and he is a stunning character. Can't wait for more of this rivalry between him and Kogami.

This episode was great and executed in the right way. Makishima's speech and all the build up is what really sold it for me. It kept me on the edge of my sit and I never felt this thrilled ever since watching Death Note.
What happened was pretty disturbing and shocking, yet necessary to show the flaws of the system in which our characters live in. Being betrayed by what one thinks is justice and being unable to help someone in need is a terrifying scenario. Makishima Shogo truly is a compelling villain! A deserved 10/10 in my book.
