Once against the firm must go up against Neil Gross (John Benjamin Hickey). A girl is at the court and she comes to the offices wanting to figure out her prenup she is to sign with Neil. David Lee is brought in to go over the terms and she seems to be getting the bad side of the stick. Alicia is made sit down in front of Diane and Will being told she may be becoming a partner of the firm. Will and Diane must go in front of the judge against Louis and Clarke, they want a five month extension but this super team do not see it as a smart idea. Alicia try's to tell everyone her partner news with a smile on her face. David tells Alicia about paying money which seems such a high figure for her. The lawyers meets and 48 hours is given to agree on the prenup. David starts to worry Deena doing nothing is a bad idea for her. Louis goes back to his old ways using his disease as sympathy from the judge. Clarke and Louis's case with the sympathy does not seem to going well. Alicia speaks to Peter about being partner and he seems quite happy for her. Jordan finally meets with Alicia wanting to know her views on religion especially when trying to make it a negative against Maddie being atheist. Diane is put on the stand to answer questions and Will worries about contradictions to what she is saying. Alicia is then made go on the stand for her opinion. Deena is told some of Neil's demands and this makes her want to change some things in the prenup. Alicia finds out Cary was offered partner as well not making it that special. Eli try's to prepare Alicia to lie about believing in god. Deena fights with Neil about religion and Cary must talk her down to go back into the room. Alicia is put on the stand and is told she is on of 5 4th year's offered partner which makes the offer even less special then she once thought it was. At the banquet the religion question comes up and Alicia a bit drunk tells her real feelings which could ruin the campaign. Clarke is having his bar exam and just has so much on his mind. The firm find out some information to use against Neil. Clarke is put on the stand and he makes not difference giving the firm their extension and Louis not getting his way. Alicia alone in her office is told off by Diane for mopping around the place and mingle with the other partners. Alicia then comes out and thanks everyone. This show continues another strong season and finally Margulies got something to do and she played all her scenes so well. Sad to see Lane maybe go but he was amazing in the season. Writing was great as was the whole episode.

EPISODE GRADE: A- (MVP: Julianna Margulies)
