- Some extremely mild violence which is pretty much harmless.
- A whale is hit by sinking rocks and becomes blind. And it crashes on a ship which then sinks underwater. Prince William almost drowns to death, but Princess Miranda saves him.
- A cat is accidentally stepped on it's tail two times in the entire film.
- Two sharks attempt to attack and eat a smaller sea creature.
- A sea witch hits the two sharks with her tail.

- The language is very harmless, despite a few brief words like "pathetic" and "stupid" as uttered by Clarissa.

- While the sea witch may be a little bit scary for some younger children, this film is awfully harmless compared to some other animation adaptions of the same story, including the Toei-version (1975) and the Disney-version (1989).

- Two characters plan to murder Prince William and his father. It doesn't happen at all, considering the fact this is a very harmless film for kids.
- A dog chases two people and a cat, until the latter three arrive on the roof of a castle.
