Trivia

To spoof the title which no longer matches the content of the series, in the second season the producers started adding self-deprecating jokes to the show's title card. The one for this episode reads: welcome to "Cougar Town" This episode is funnier if you know that Courtney is terrified of birds. See more »

Cougar Town Saving Grace
20 March 2013 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Seagulls arrive in town with many characters getting attacked by these sea birds for having any form of food near them. The only really funny moment came when Jules, Laurie and Ellie went up against the group of three young girls even though it did not end that funny when the mother was brought into talk to these women. Bobby found a girl who he seemed to belong with and now the end of the episode seems to send up some potential for the two to be together since they have so much in common. The dodge-ball game at the end was fine and Jule winning by a head was a joke that seemed funny. The faith conversation of the episode was boring and I always hate when TV show's bring up faith because it never really works for me with people who have different ideas. It was an OK episode but still I was not laughing much at the episode.

EPISODE GRADE: C (MVP: Christa Miller)
