U.S. Trailer For Olivier Assayas’ Something In The Air

Something in the Air (Apres mai) is Olivier Assayas‘ follow-up to Carlos, a sprawling five-hour epic of ’70s terrorism, which also harks back to ‘Cold Water,’ but as a softer, tender and dispassionate semi-autobiographical reflection on an equivalent period. After its premiere at the Venice Film Festival last year a much more genteel companion work to Carlos is now coming to theaters stateside via Sundance Selects on May 3rd, 2013. Therefore, the first domestic trailer for Something in the Air has arrived, featuring examination of sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll and revolution — a portrait of a time too intense to last forever. Olivier Megaton Is "Taking Gotham"

"Taken 2" director Olivier Megaton is set to helm the $60 million 'based on actual events' action thriller "Taking Gotham" at Emmett/Furla Films.

The story follows a secret unit of the NYPD that was created in response to a string of brutal robberies in New York City. After a deadly sting operation, the elite unit is disavowed by the NYPD, forcing them to go deep underground in order to clear their names.

Thomas Kelly penned the script, while Gianni Nunnari, Ellen Goldsmith Vein, Michael Prevett, Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing. Shooting kicks off next March.

Olivier Megaton to direct Taking Gotham thriller

Taking Gotham lands Taken 2 director Olivier Megaton Olivier Megaton will take the wheel of the Emmett/Furla Films production scripted by Thomas Kelly. Deadline reports that the pic's based on actual events and tells of a secret NYPD unit created after a series of savage robberies. The unit is then disavowed after a deadly sting operation, which forces them to go underground and battle to clear their name.
