Disappointed in Al Sharpton
15 April 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Al Sharpton will find "racism" in anything. Isn't the idea to eradicate racism? Not once have I seen Al Sharpton attempt to do so. He only incites racism. Yet, he is upheld as a successor to Martin Luther King Jr. Seriously? One of Martin Luther King Jr's most famous quotes, was from his "I Have A Dream" speech, where he says, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Al Sharpton's version of that quote would be, "...where they will not be judged at all, and if judged it must be because of the color of their skin." Anytime the content of a black individual's character is judged, he plays the race card and organizes protests. If he truly wanted to eradicate racism, he would organize community outreaches, and try to restore the black family. He should encourage fathers and mothers to stay together and raise their kids, instead of the kids raising themselves. He should encourage young black girls to stop having children out of marriage, and young black boys to stop impregnating them. He should encourage the black community as a whole to stop blaming the white man for everything, and stop feeling like they're entitled to special treatment because of past history. And lastly, he should encourage the black community as a whole to end the welfare mentality. There's so much opportunity for every person in this country, and they should try to reach their potentials. Instead he excuses any and all problems with a race card.
