DOD Guard #4 (SCIF)

As Donnelly escorts Carter and Reese to their incarceration, they are ambushed, their attacker who kills Donnelly and abducts Reese. That attacker is Reese's old and supposedly deceased ex-partner, Kara Stanton. Reese is not the first old colleague who she has abducted, the other being their old boss, Mark Snow. She has bombs strapped to their chests, and places them on a collective task, which she monitors remotely, and threatens to blow them up if they don't comply. They have to figure out her motives to uncover what her mission is. Meanwhile, Donnelly's death places Carter in an emotional conundrum of self-preservation versus leaving the scene of a crime. Finch convinces her that she needs to leave the scene, so that they plus Fusco can try to find Reese to save him before Kara completes her task and/or before she kills Reese. Written by Huggo

John Reese: What is this room?
Kevin: Where we monitor the government's most secure networks against cyber attacks. From here she could reach...
Kara Stanton: Everything.
John Reese: What have you done Kara?
Kara Stanton: My job, John.
John Reese: Kara, listen. I know how you feel. I was in Ordos too, remember? And yes, we were burned. Betrayed. But we survived. You can let it go. It's not too late. You can end this.
Kara Stanton: Oh John. I plan to. I meant what I said before. About missing this. But it's true what they say. You can't go home again. So long, fellas.

Non Stop Action All The Way!
16 March 2013 | by (Seymour Tennessee) – See all my reviews

As Carter and Reese are being led by doomed agent, FBI's Donnolly as Stanton, an old friend of Reese and partner at the CIA slams into the car, she kills Donnolly as you knew that he could not live had our heroes went to prison. And gives Reese a shot in the neck.

Reese along with Snow awakens as both men are tied with bombs. And that if they do not do what they say, Stanton will blow them and others in NYC up!

As Carter struggles to be released and leaves the scene by Finch who knew that would happened to Donnolly and them but was too late to save him.

She sees an earring missing from her ear and knows when she meets up with Fusco who notices it. She grabs it before the FBI can interrogate her about Donnolly being killed.

Reese and Snow both pose as ATF agents in order to get to a building. In order for Stanton to use her magic on them and to get what she needs. After a bomb threat made them pose as fake ATF agents prior to beating the real ones up.

As Carter does not have time to regroup in order to save Reese and Finch for that matter. As Stanton is being given the name of the undead man's who is a computer genius and has been dead for years. Hence a secret that you all probably are able to figure it out.

Will Carter, Finch, Fusco, etc save the day and help out Reese? As Bear the dog also misses his owner badly. Poor Finch having to take care of Reese's dog while Reese is trying to break out for his freedom?

The end is really totally unexpected but will not give you all the ending due to you all wanting to be surprised. But it does end on a happy note if surprising!
