  Alex Salter : [handing said card over]  This isn't happening. Can I ask you something?

  Catherine Chandler : Yeah.

  Alex Salter : How can you just... put yourself out there like this for him, knowing what he is?

  Catherine Chandler : He saved my life. And that's all he wants for you, too.

  Heather Chandler : Well, you want to switch to a sugar high?

  Catherine Chandler : Pass. But very subtle letting me know that you have a valentine.

  Heather Chandler : Well, actually, I don't, yet. I bought these myself. But you know what? This is my way of taking back Valentine's Day, determining my own fate. And once I meet Mr. Destiny tonight, all of my preemptive purchases will be vindicated.

  Catherine Chandler : You can't read someone else's card.

  Tess Vargas : Well, I did. So?

  Catherine Chandler : I don't know who they're from.

  Tess Vargas : Oh, come on. There was a mystery date who canceled, the guy last week who ran back to his ex, now this. You're either having a very serious relationship or a very serious psychotic break.

  Vincent Keller : Yeah, in danger. And it's my fault, so we gotta do something about it.

  Catherine Chandler : No, I have to do something about it. You are going to go and sit on that couch or do a thousand push-ups or level up on every video game you have. You cannot leave.

  Vincent Keller : I'm not gonna sit in here while you're out there in danger.

  Catherine Chandler : You will if you want me to trust you again.

  Tess Vargas : No. These came for you.

  Catherine Chandler : Wait, you're eating my Valentine's chocolates?
