Nice with an interesting twist
2 January 2014 | by (El Salvador) – See all my reviews

I had been watching the series because of all the buzz. The 3 first episodes were mostly boring for me. The sisters' rivalry, the murderer and Adele were not bright spots. It was until this episode when we learned more about Victor's back story that we realized things are not quite what they seem and you should expect the unexpected. This was a turning point for me - I was delighted, saw the entire season and I'm waiting eagerly for the second. The soundtrack is incredibly effective as well. As I said before, I think the creators took a little bit too much time to get to this point. If it had aired on the US it would have been canceled very soon. I'm glad it was made in France where apparently people have more patience (and openness towards nudity and sex).
