Parenthood Keep on Rowing
2 January 2013 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Adam and Kristina: The mothers of the Braverman family go out dancing and Kristina looks to having such a good time. With drinks in their hands the women talk about man problems but when some of Kristina's hair falls out everyone goes home. At home Kristina finally decides to shave her head and when she shows Adam for the first time he is shocked by the change. When Kristina wants to go out shopping she sees everyone around looking at her because of the lose of her hair. Adam finds Kristina on the bed mad about her day and how people look at her so strangely. When Kristina gets mad and leaves the room Adam sees she was looking for wigs online. Adam goes wig shopping with Sarah and when he returns home with a bad wig Kristina gets both sad and angry that he now thinks different of her. Kristina visits Adam at work with a dark wig wanting to go out on a date with him that he accepts. While waiting for Adam a man comes to flirt with Kristina and she goes along with it until Adam shows up. In the hotel room Adam is ready to sleep with Kristina but she is too tired so they just sit in bed together with each other.

Sarah and Hank: After the advice from the girls Sarah gets Mark to ask her out on a date. Sarah shes Drew was talking to Mark on facebook and Mark was kissed by a girl on New Year's Eve. When Sarah and Hank go out on their date Sarah cannot stop thinking about Mark. Hank sees that the two are not into the restaurant so they leave. Hank and Sarah sit on a rug on the floor sharing compliments to each other. The next day Sarah comes into the kitchen while Hank returns with Coffee and food for her.

Jasmine and Crosby: Jasmine has cooked Crosby some pancakes which Jasmine uses so she can ask Crosby for $5000 for her mother. Crosby looks to Adam for some advice and Adam tells him giving money to family is just a gift. Crosby agrees to give the money but Jasmine tells Crosby her mother will need much more money. The two options they have is give the money every month or let Jasmine's mother move in with them. Crosby has to move his stuff into the studio and while he is mad Amber and Adam cannot help but laugh. While fixing the room for Jasmine's mother Crosby is still mad that Jasmine's mother is moving in. Jasmine's mother moves in and Crosby is finally accepting.

Julia and Joel: Victor is finally doing well in school and he wants to show his results to his real mother. Julia and Joel have to sit down Victor and tell him that he cannot talk to his mom. They tell him it is because they have adopted him now but Victor does not understand most things. Victor is now mad and Sid is starting to notice and when she asks too many questions Julia gets mad and tells her to shut up. Victor is practicing baseball outside and Side comes out to talk to him saying really cruel things to him which causes him to break a window with his bat. When Joel has talked to Victor Julia thinks he is to nice to him because Sid could have been hurt. Victor is still mad at Julia and locks his door when he has to go to school.

Great episode and the ensemble work on this show is some of the best around. The cancer storyline once again was the best but each other storyline had their dramatic moment and once again the worst part of the episode was the Sarah plot.

EPISODE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Monica Potter)
