I discovered this animated short thanks to Cartoon Brew.
I have to say that it was something very fascinating and unique to watch, being highly original but also strangely haunting, and even heartbreaking from a certain point of view.
In this short, one fish sings "One Furtiva Lagrima" (performed by Enrico Caruso) as it is bought in the supermarket and then prepared for dinner.
One would think that a concept like that would be played ironically (Remember the animatronic singing fish Big Mouth Billy Bass?) Instead of that, this turned out to be something surprisingly sad and elegiac.
