Trivia

Laurie's idea to name the boat Sea Story, and her later saying: "We're in a sea story right now" is a meta reference to the several story lines that comprise each episode. The new couple to move in and the Bobby/Riggs story are the A and B stories, and renaming the boat is the "C" story, so "in a Sea story" is really "in a C story".

This is further supported by Andy saying to Bobby: "You and I find ourselves in a C story more than anyone," and Bobby says, "Nothing of consequence ever happens but dammit we have a good time." See more »

Cougar Town This Old Town

Jules try's life as an older women while Bobby enlists a small group of people to help him make some money off snake collecting. The scenes where Jules, Ellie and Grayson tried to be older people like their neighbours was very funny for me and when they saw the older people trying to be younger it made this plot point the better part of the episode. Bobby might be happy now in a casual relationship with this girl Riggs but their relationship seems to have happened very quickly and I do not see it as great as it could be. Laurie and Travis at this point for me should not be in a relationship because the writers of the show have missed their opportunity for anything to happen and at this point it would seem to late especially for all the chances they had to put the two characters in a relationship. Funny episode as always and the return of Penny can was a great slow montage that was a great cap to the end of the episode as well as the gang with wine in hand driving around.

EPISODE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Courtenay Cox)
