Trivia

The newsreel that opens the show features a rare flashback showing how Plo Koon first discovered Ahsoka Tano when she was very young. Plo Koon still wears a Clone armor gauntlet which he wouldn't have had at this earlier stage. Since they didn't have the budget to alter his forearms, they textured the armor to look like a cloth part of his robe. See more »

Quotes

Narrator: As the Clone War scorches its destructive path across the galaxy, it is the Jedi who bring order to the chaos. Another good episode, exploring the light saber crystals.

The episode features a group of young jedi, who are selected to proceed to the next step of being a jedi i.e. building their own lightsaber, but first they have to harvest the suitable crystal.

It is a nice story, and a true delight for star wars fan as it explored the concept of the light saber crystals, which was only mentioned but not stressed upon in the 6 films. Although it seemed a little rushed, I suppose it could have been stretched to two episodes. Rest apart, I'd really like to see Anakin and Luke pursuing the same training (a detailed account).

The episode has some cool and smooth animation, voice actors are convincing, the wookie student is adorable.

Direction: Good.

Story/script: Strong.

Music: Awesome.

Overall a good concept and story.
