"You haven't told your mum you're pregnant"
9 November 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

So, we finally get an answer to the question "Does Vanessa have any family?"Unfortunately, the family we get seems to consist of a rather two-dimensional overbearing mother with attitudes towards single mothers straight out of the 1950s.The way she finds out about Vanessa's pregnancy isn't too contrived but it results in Lucas making a well-intentioned but rather foolish decision.

Susan, predictably, reacts in a heavy-handed manner to Summer and Bradley's relationship and it's a relief that, after initially going along with it and even suggesting she fire Bradley, Karl eventually decides to get her to rein it in.There's also a nice exploration of the growing friendship between Chris and Sophie and an examination of Sophie's state of mind about the car crash which could help develop her character.
