Good Cable Movie. Good cast.

I found this cable movie by accident. When I saw Robert Townsend was in it, I figured it would be a good at home watch flick. Sure enough it was and the story line was a bit predictable, but it held my interest. I have always like Robert Townsend from his supporting role in the film, "A Soldier's Story", "Hollywood Shuffle" and "Five Heartbeats".

The entire cast was good, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Jennifer Lewis and hottie Latina, Elika Crespo. Talented Latino actor, Esai Morales did not do much and was a waste of time on screen. He is talented, but not much for him to do and the same with Lawrence H. Jacobs, co-star of the classic hit 1975 film, "Cooley High" which Robert Townsend had one line in the film's gym scene. I really like Salli's tough as nails, "Talisa McCoy" character.

The funniest scene in the film was when Robert's character was in Salli's character's home alone in the room with two of her little kids and the boy and little girl are staring at him making him uncomfortable. So he makes up talk with them to which the little 5 year old boy tells Robert's character while pointing a toy gun at him, "You better be gone before my daddy gets back here."
