Vincent prevents a young man being shot during an armed shop robbery, but it has a security camera, so the tape must be dealt with. Vincent insists Cat must enjoy a birthday party thrown for her by friends, as part of the social life he misses dearly. Peeking from outside, Vince sees Evan steal a kiss. Meanwhile, Cat and Tess investigate the disappearance of a woman who may be in a witness relocation program and on the run from a killer, which Cat sees similarities between her growing relationship with Vincent. Cat invites Vincent to a home dinner and perhaps intimate night, but the image haunts him too badly. Written by KGF Vissers

Episode 5 spoiler alert.Don't read if you have not seen it.

I loved the 80's version so was a little apprehensive of this one.I am not a fan of remakes BUT this is not and I am loving it.The journey is similar with Vincent and Catherine, that's where I think the brilliant move is as we who love romance can be taken to another place for the whole show, I actually wish it would go longer, episode.5 was a great tease, opening with Vincent and no shirt, wow! you've got my attention. The story line is getting better with every episode, keep up the good work, please let it stay on, I am so sick and tired of falling in love with a show only to have it removed by some idiot who "doesn't get it!"

The writers have it so right to today's events this could actually happen, it's like fantasy with the probability of real.
