Parks and Recreation Ron and Diane
7 December 2012 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Christmas time is here and Leslie hears Ron was nominated for an award. Leslie makes more of a big deal and does not take no for an answer about going to the awards presentation with Ron and Diane. The guys at the parks department have a Jerry dinner for all the money they put into a box for making fun of him every year. Chris and Ben decide to finally hang out with each other since getting back from Washington. Leslie meets with Diane. Ron seems to overreact to people he looks up to at the convention. Leslie is left alone with Diane to ask all of her many questions. Donna decides to go to Jerry's house instead of having dinner. They pull up and find out Jerry is having a Christmas party. Leslie excepts Dian for Ron giving Diane her thumbs up. Just when everything seems OK in walks Tammy 2 slutting it up. Tammy meets Diane and she causes some problems for Ron in his relationship. Leslie sees Tammy 2 as her challenge for helping Ron. The non-jerry supporters watch from outside in the cold. Anne comes to the door not letting them into the house. Anne lets Donan in for driving to Jerry's house. At the wood event Tammy 2 is now sitting beside Ron, Leslie and Tammy. Ben meets Jerry's wife and is surprised by her. Jerry and his family start to sing for all the guests. Tom and the guys find out that they actually got invited. At the event Ron finds out he won the award. While making his speech Tammy 2 flashes him from the audience. Chris seems happy at the party then his ex comes. Diane lays in on the line saying Leslie is the problem with her relationship with Ron. Leslie tells Ron that she can see why Diane would see her as a problem. Chris still finds it weird who Jerry is married to. Leslie takes Tammy as her prisoner in her car. Jerry is given a gift of the Jerry dinner money but still gets locked outside his house. Leslie and Tammy go on a crazy ride chasing each other and fighting with each other. Ron brings Diane off to a club showing her something no one knows about him not even Leslie. Really funny episode especially with the return of Megan as crazy Tammy. Also happy with how they are handling Tammy and Ron's relationship because the actors play it so well. The party stuff was fine but not up to the standard as the the other part of the plot.

EPISODE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Megan Mullally)
