In a support group for women who have been stalked, a young dancer talks of being followed by a strange fan over the years. Minutes into the testimony she finds he has followed her into the very room.

The line "Don't you like me a little bit? You must admit I am different" was lifted from a letter sent to Jodie Foster by her then stalker, John Kinckley. The letter was sent as a desperate plea to Foster before he attempted to assassinate the president of the time, Ronald Regan. The director found the line so strangely creepy and relevant to 'The Followed' he decided to use it. See more
