Teaser Poster Released For ‘Toy Story That Time Forgot’

22 July 2014 4:00 AM, PDT | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

After last year’s Toy Story Of Terror comes Toy Story That Time Forgot, another outing for Disney Pixar’s most successful characters.

This new TV special will see Woody, Buzz and the gang come across a group (or herd?) of dinosaur toys, led by Reptillus Maximus (voiced by Kevin McKidd), who believe that they are real, much like Buzz did at the beginning of the first installment (1995). Tom Hanks, Joan Cusack, Tim Allen, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Kristen Schaal and Timothy Dalton will all return as their respective characters, ensuring that the legend of Toy Story lives on!

The poster gives us a sneaky peek at Reptillus himself, all muscle and scales. But…who’s that on the right-hand side? It can’t be…what’s happened to Trixie?! Will Woody and Buzz be able to save her? We’ll have to wait and see.

Toy Story's New TV Special Has A Teaser Poster

21 July 2014 10:54 AM, PDT | EmpireOnline | See recent EmpireOnline news »

Last year’s Toy Story Of Terror was yet another wonderful short outing for Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang, blending their usual spot-on character work with a funny horror spoof. For their next trick, the Pixar team is adding dinosaurs – and who doesn’t love those terrible lizards? – for Toy Story That Time Forgot. The new half-hour TV special has launched a teaser poster in time for its panel at Comic-Con this week. Click on the image below to biggenerate it. Drawn by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, the poster features the proud visage of Reptillus Maximus (Kevin McKidd), the leader of a group of dino-toys our heroes meet and who turn out to be suffering a similar delusion that once afflicted Tim Allen’s Buzz: namely that they think they’re real. Angus MacLane Co-Directing Finding Dory With Andrew Stanton

11 June 2014 10:13 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Though Cars 2 fizzled and Monsters University didn’t really offer much to Monsters Inc. fans, Pixar has proven with Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 that it understands how to make great sequels. So we’re holding out hope for Finding Dory, a sequel to Oscar winner Finding Nemo, especially because the first film’s director Andrew Stanton is back on board. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see it until 2016 because of The Good Dinosaur getting delayed and moved to Dory‘s spot, but at least we’ve got some interesting news about the film to tide us over.

While tweeting about an amusing Lego creation, Stanton let slip that Pixar veteran Angus MacLane is co-directing Finding Dory with him:
