These retired freaks just wanted to crash a plane, and boy they did.
10 November 2013 | by (madrid) – See all my reviews

It was really promising, but at the end it looks like 4 all-American retired wealthy friends that miss the old times wanting to wreck a plane anywhere, so they can take a weekend off together. They let some guy from MIT speak 5 minutes to give it a slight scientific touch, but is too decaf, as the old guys focus on stupid problems throughout the whole film, making a constant drama out of trivialities.

There are also epic fails, like the parachuting men forgetting to carry a gps/mobile phone/sparkle and the ground guys dramatizing about they being lost in the desert forever. Yeah. Also the remote control is like a bad joke, and they even fail to install a more powerful antenna.

The list goes on and on ...they were in a terrible hurry to wreck the plane one specific day, if not, the 7 million (?) project will be a total failure. Looks like no way Mexicans could give one more day. Bummer.

Nice doc for eating some popcorn, but don't look for any science here. These retired freaks just wanted to crash a plane, and boy they did.
