Anabel is a young woman who constantly has visions of a ghoulish man stalking . She soon comes to realise this man is not a figment of a fertile imagination
SEVEN MINUTES is a short horror film by Neill Morris and once you know the premise you know what's going to happen . We are going to see the young female protagonist stuck all alone in a dark house late at night with loud sound effects causing the audience to jump out of their seats
To be fair to Mr Morris his technical accomplishments are very good especially the lighting and the rest of the cinematography which has a rich and deep texture . Where the director is less successful is the cast . Let it not be over emphasised that the cast is all important and if they're not very good then it tends to drag down the entire short as it does here to a degree . I was also left with the feeling the story could have done with a little bit more . Certainly I could understand everything but at the end of the day it's an empty though well shot short film
