A charming beginning
10 December 2013 | by (Peru) – See all my reviews

Even when I never read any comic book in which this series of shorts was inspired, I found "Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld" to be highly enjoyable and fun to watch.

It had good animation, with simple but cute and appealing designs, and a very likable main character. The plot was entertaining, but way too short. I wish that this would have been at least a little bit longer in order to see more of the story and the characters, but the overall result is still quite well made anyway.

Personally, I would recommend "Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld" to all those viewers who like magical girl series and role-playing fantasy games. It would a very short, but sweet experience.

This first short was a very charming and cute manner to start the story of Amethyst, introducing the main character in a fast-paced but convincing way.
