I saw this at the premiere in 2013 Midnight Sun Film Festival. I was already aware of Forsström's talent as a screenwriter, but his directing debut took me by surprise. The mostly unknown actors do a great job and the story is brought forward effortlessly. Technically the film is flawless too, which is rare for a Finnish film. The film tells quite a moving story about a young, single parent woman. It revolves around the themes of loneliness, multiculturality, depression and social exclusion, all current topics in today's Finland. The ending wraps the story up a little too nicely. I hope Forsström has the opportunity to direct more films in the future.
