Storyline

Smart, driven and kind-hearted, Cheyenne appears to have everything going for her, but her friends and her girlfriend don't know about her tumultuous home life. Today she returns home from school to find her father in the midst of another drunken afternoon celebration. Leon doesn't seem to see how partying with his friends Vonda and Put-Put affects Cheyenne's sense of stability, but he loves his daughter dearly. After a heated dinner table debate about religion, sexuality and respect for the dead, Cheyenne excuses herself to her room to finish her homework. When her father and Vonda leave the house to pick up more booze, Put-Put drops in to console her. His concern quickly shifts to rage when she doesn't deny that she is in fact dating a girl. After the assault, Cheyenne wakes up forever changed. Written by Logan Alexander
