The 'inbetween picture' of the skeleton hand has 5 fingers and a thumb. In the final episode, when Olivia and Peter are going through the building with observers and loyalists in that they attacked with chemicals, there is a bloody hand print on the wall. This hand print also had 5 fingers and a thumb. See more »

The point of going to the future is to stop the forced evolution of the Observers. Walter and Michael make it to the future and the show ends with the Observers' invasion never happening because the Observers never happened, or at least not in the emotionless form we saw in the show. If that is the case, then September should not have been present at the Lake to save Peter and Walter, so both of them should be dead. Also, if September never existed, then Michael never existed. So the invasion would still take place. What we should have at the end is Olivia, without Walter, joining Fringe Division and researching the Plan (an idea dropped early in Season 1). But of course, we could go back as long as the Observers have been observed in history (the historical prints and paintings shown throughout the series). So it is possible that none of this would ever have happened and we could be looking at a completely different time line. See more »

Peter Bishop: If we shoot 'em, they're dead. Why do we want 'em to float away?
Dr. Walter Bishop: Because it's cool.

5 Season much to short for FRINGE
25 March 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

For 4 Seasons FRINGE may have been the best Science Fiction series ever in television but it's move to Fridays was it's eventful demise. The writers had 1/2 a season of it's normal number of episodes to wrap up the series and it did. I diid not like how it ended and wished it could have continued for another 4 or 5 seasons. Hopefully it still continue on in the alternate universe. The entire case and producers kept us in suspense and wonderment for 5 years you had to pay attention and remember what you paid attention too because questions would be askedand they were in each new episode. FRINGE is missed good TV is few andfar between. I think fans would be happy with a made for TV Movie
