Trivia

The 'inbetween picture' of the skeleton hand has 5 fingers and a thumb. In the final episode, when Olivia and Peter are going through the building with observers and loyalists in that they attacked with chemicals, there is a bloody hand print on the wall. This hand print also had 5 fingers and a thumb. See more »

Goofs

In an earlier show, the Fringe team pursued a man who could make paraplegics float using an osmium solution that worked only due to the unraveling of the two universes. Walter then said in the next season that the universes had healed themselves, thereby the laws of physics were once again intact. Because of this, Walter's osmium-tipped bullets shouldn't have made the Observers float when they were shot. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Walter Bishop: Peter, hold on to these tight. Anti-gravity osmium bullets. Shoot Observers with these and watch them float away like balloons.
Peter Bishop: If we shoot 'em they're dead. Why'd we want 'em to float away?
Dr. Walter Bishop: ...Because it's cool.
Peter Bishop: That makes sense Walter.

Best Series Finale of a TV show for the past years
2 March 2013 | by See all my reviews

All good things eventually come to an end. And so did "Fringe". Despite the lack of dynamic in Season 5 compared to the other four seasons, the series finale was satisfying enough, and way better than the finale of "Lost", for example. Brilliantly played by the cast members, the final two episodes brought a logical ending to the 100-hours story. It really made sense - something I was afraid would not happen, after the confusing finale of "Lost". It also had a happy end, but not in the cheesy way. Therefore, I think it should be satisfying to all fans of the show. For those of you who have still not watched the entire show, I strongly recommend "Fringe".
