She, however, is suffering from allergies, preventing them from spending some private time together. Howard also feels dejected when he learns that during his time away, his mother is having an affair with his dentist, Dr. Schneider and Stuart has taken over his spot in his friendship with Raj, since they are living together. Meanwhile, Sheldon, Leonard, Penny and Amy hang out at the guys' apartment and participate in a guys versus girls competition. First they are playing Pictionary and then other made-up games where the guys never seem to win. Written by laird-3

In the opening sequence, Howard thinks the capsule has landed when in fact the parachute has deployed and they are 6 miles above the ground and he screams in terror. This is inaccurate because, in addition to simulating weightlessness prior to flight, a simulation of a descent from a height would be conducted. See more »

Divine Intervention

(Part One) Night. The woods. A young guy, name of Richie, maybe thirty years old, running for his life. Chased by two bad men with guns. The chase leads out of the woods and into a backyard. Richie hides in a small tool shed. He is terrified, bewildered, trapped. Truly screwed. He looks up and says, "God, if you'll get me out of this, I promise I'll never steal drugs from drug dealers ever again. I'll never steal from anybody. I'll never lie again. I'll never cheat. I'll never bang a strange woman who may be underage... and the daughter of a drug dealer. Please God, just this one time, help me out of this jam and I will forever be your guy." A gentle voice in the darkness says, "Okay." Startled, Richie says, "What? Who's there?" The voice again, "Okay." We hear his pursuers outside. They've reached the backyard. They're getting closer. Richie asks again, "Hello? Who said that?" He looks around in the tiny shed. No one there but him. Bad guys get closer. They're in the backyard. Richie is frantic. He drops to his knees, clasps his hands together and whispers, "No no. Wait. I believe. I'll live up to the deal. I'll turn my life over to you, oh Lord um God, just please get me out of this!" One of the bad guys shouts, "The shed, he's in the shed!" The other bad guy shouts, "No wait!" Bursts of gunfire from opposite directions rip through the shed just above Richie's head. Silence. More silence. More. (Continued after "TWO AND A HALF MEN") See more »

Howard returns to Earth not feeling like such a hero on "The Re-Entry Minimization" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
28 November 2012 | by (Baton Rouge, La.) – See all my reviews

In this ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Howard comes back with Bernadette waiting for him at the airport...and no one else though he first thought a lot of people were giving him a hero's welcome when they called his name before finding out it's Howie Mandel (yes, it's actually him!) they were calling to. Bern wanted him all to herself but has a cold and falls asleep when they try making Howard goes to his mother's house...but she's sleeping with the dentist (Ken Lerner, who I fondly remember from the early eps of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as the high school principal). Now he goes to Raj's apartment...only to find Stuart living there now and being his best bud. So then he goes to Leonard and Sheldon's...where they, along with Penny and Amy, are stuffing their heads in a pie with no time for him. I'll stop there and just say this was another very funny ep of "The Big Bang Theory" and a fine showcase for the returning Wolowitz. Can't wait for the next ep now...
