Bases Loaded!!, 22 June 2014

This strange Mathieu Amalric drama flick was wacky fun. I am definitely in the very small minority with this, as the majority of its audience has so far panned it. But I thought that it presented some interesting new ideas, I thought Mathieu Amalric was doing a pretty good job, as well as Emmanuelle Seigner who plays the actress, and basically everyone here. Now, this movie could get a little looney tunes at times, but in my head I was thinking, "Bring on the looney toons!". And you know what? At one point towards the end of the film, I noticed Amalric begin to start acting like one of his "weird" characters, which made me laugh, thinking that he even plays crazy characters in the form of "normal" characters. I mean sure this movie had its problems here and there, but overall if you walk in with an open mind, this could be a decent film for you. The plot is that an actress attempts to convince a director how she's perfect for a role in his upcoming production. What's next from everybody's second favorite pedo?!
