An FBI Agent(Sandra Bullock) who is real good at her job, but is not a people person, to the point where nobody wants to work with her. She is up for a promotion, and is told if can take down a drug kingpin she will be promoted. She is transferred to Boston, where she ends up getting paired with a tough edgy cop(Melissa McCarthy), who does take well to her style of crime solving. Can these work together without driving each other crazy?
This was a fun action comedy, If you enjoy those action mismatch buddy comedies of yesterday, then The Heat is that movie for you. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy really have fun chemistry, they really play off each other perfectly. I bet they had a lot of fun doing this film, it really shows in there performances. The rest of the cast does well also. This was a real summer treat for adults.
