'Runaround' is a narrative short that explores the sexual maturation of Jay (age 15), a promiscuous, small town American girl, and her 2 best friends, Jean-Marie and Kim as they spend the summer pursuing a golden tan and the opposite sex. The shame of Jay's behavior begins to smother her, as she struggles to find herself, her freedom, and her first love. The Jerk, The Intellect, and the Local Boy-who-got-out show Jay the ropes of sex and life.
