Glee Swan Song
7 December 2012 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

After Marley fainted on the stage all of the New Directions ran off disqualifying them giving the Warbblers the win. Kurt and Rachel hear about it straight away in New York and wonder if they should get involved. Kurt is still auditioning to join Rachel in school. The next day in dance class Rachel gets the letter that says she will perform at the performance show in Winter. Back in McKinley the glee club have lost their space for singing, with Sue taking it all away and there is no where for them to sing in the school. Sue has finally beaten the glee club and she feels very empty about it. Sue feels she has done the wrong thing until she is told by another teacher that she has. The glee club are told in it over and some of them will never have the chance to win again. Sam is into Brittany and she also likes him too. The two decide to sing "Somethin' Stupid" together. She still cannot kiss him because she fears the lesbians of America becoming violent. Back in New York Cassandra still does not think Rachel is worthy. The sing battle Chicago's "All That Jazz". Rachel tells Cassandra she will win with her voice alone. Kurt comes again to try get into NYADA but is told her lakes the passion worthy of being in the school. Back in school everyone has joined new clubs because they all have the drive to win. After everyone leaves Marley is the only one to stay with Finn for the Glee Club. Brittany decides to go out with Sam which means missing the glee rehearsal. The new york show starts with the very competitive dancer. Rachel is nervous and Brody comes to the show leading her to kiss him. Rachel chooses to sing "Being Good Isn't Good Enough" for her showcase. After a big applause she sings her favourite Christmas song "O Holy Night". It is then announced that Kurt will sing without knowing in advance. Kurt try's to come up with something and does not know what to sing until Rachel is able to make him come to his senses. Kurt sings "Being Alive" as his audition to be enrolled in NYADA. Rachel calls Finn and he does not seem to want to hear her. She tells him she won which just makes her feel worse. Marley has a new place to rehearse which leads Finn to send a message to the whole glee club to come back to the group. Marley has to apologize for fainting making everyone lose. They start to sing "Don't Dream It's Over" because they can still do it even in the cold. The rest of the glee club joins them joining in to sing. Kurt got his letter and joins Rachel in NYADA. OK episode with once again too much time spent in school with the best stuff in New York. Rachel's song was great but everyone was reacting like it was the best thing of all.
